I've re attempted with the newest 2.2d, saves it under globalgamemanagers and it worked when installed aswell as the one still on flmods which saved the character skin as globalgamemanagers and again worked perfectly. Download and install https://github.com/DerPopo/UABE/releases/tag/2.2stabled and attempt, whatever the file is named, never change it and just overwrite.
  3. I just tested modding on the stable using UABE and it worked fine. You need to replace both files (Resources.assets and globalgamemanagers.assets)

For the uniforms are you editing the files in sharedassets 2 or resources, if sharedassets2 please edit 1 uniform in resources and check in game (they have been added to resources.assets - I'll update the file if it's successful for you) Ambulance, since the last update, the large ambulance rear is the first texture (At least in my files) so find the one with the largest pathid and edit it and see if it changes (latest unstable, 598. Pathids change after every update) I've changed both and they were both in game
  7. Hi DanpogoYT, make sure you're searching in sharedassets2.assets file, the name is still "Hat-Police-1_Hat_BaseColor".
  8. It is possible and the same way as before, nothing has changed. Just remember there can be a random update to unstable so making major modifications should wait until stable is released. what are you trying to mod?

Hi Einjam, When installing mods the files will automatically name itself to what it needs to be, renaming will cause the file to fail to load and more likely crash the game, verifying your files will fix this. Please just drag and drop the generated file in your flashinglights_data file, and overwrite the globalgamemanager file and it should be installed properly. I've installed and tested editing uniform files in both sharedassets2.assets as well as resources.assets (All departments uniforms can now be found in resources to make modding them easier) and both have been named Globalgamemanagers.assets, without renaming the file and overwriting globalgamemanager and all loaded. ** You do not need to edit both files to install one skin, either resources or sharedassets2 and it will be fine. Any issues let us know.
  10. Leo and/or C.Ritter will be the best to ask on the flmods server, last thing i can think of is making sure its now the newest version of unity as the game as been updated since the new update

  13. Have you done it in the new unstable branch? If so and it was a file downloaded on FLMODs then the creators are required to update the models in the newest unity build for it to be compatible with the new versions of the game, you'll need to speak to the creator of the mod, however most will be waiting for the stable to be released before updating them. I haven't had too much experience editing mesh files, if your on either of the discord channels C.Ritter will be the best person to assist further or another member of the community
  14. Remove the "- Police cap 1 = " these are only used to give users a definition of the hat version, it should be just "Cap-01_Hat_Diffuse-PD1"
  15. At this point only the vehicles and hats have been successful, however the light locations can't be reprogrammed so the vehicle will need to fit the previous vehicle otherwise lights will be hovering in the air where they were on the default vehicle.
  16. Let’s just remember this is the mod request category, unfortunately this is out of the scopes of modding at this point of time. On the official discord channel 600 has confirmed they will be added back however no timeframe has been announced at this time
  17. Hi Daniel167, There has been no successful member worked out a way to replace character meshes at this time. Modding mesh for characters will currently break your game, to fix this you will need to verify your files

  19. Hi Sakura, to my knowledge we have no upto date plain templates for the new vehicles, however have the original files uploaded for users to modify to create their own skins at https://www.flmods.com/files/category/47-original-textures/.
  20. Can you elaborate more on that, the files are .PNG the only reason they won't work is because of user error installing it.

  22. As stated above, this wont be updated until I have time to create the new vehicle skins, all the files used (besides the tow truck) can be found available for download and use if you understand the texture installation procedure
